TRUTHFUL RESPONSE TO THE
METROWEST NEWS ARTICLE OF
April 29, 2005

Air Conditioning: The archdiocese did NOT have it removed. I did so that we can install it at St. George’s Church for the comfort of the whole parish, not just a few. St. Jeremiah HAS control of this air conditioning as long as I am pastor and I want to insure that the people who paid for it will benefit from it in the future. 

Rosary for May: The first I heard of this was in the newspaper. No Rosary services are scheduled and cannot be scheduled without consulting me and I have not assented to them. 

Police Department: I have had NO conversations with the Framingham Police about a vigil or about how to thwart a vigil. 

Christa McAuliffe Carrillon: I am in conversation with a possible site as long as it is approved by the Corrigan family.

The appeal’s committee has once again given misinformation to the media and has further compromised their credibility.

I urge every member of St. Jeremiah Parish to voice their opinion to the appeal’s committee about these divisive moves. And please let them know how you feel about a vigil. Your parish staff continues to oppose one.
